RP Band Competition Presents: Temple Shift

Biography

A more curious line-up could not be conjured! The 5 eccentric Republic Poly friends with varied musical tastes and backgrounds first came together to play at Meridian Junior College’s 10th anniversary. After a few shows, the guys decided to move on to originals, crafting a sound that is always mutating yet at its core remains the same: hard-hitting, intense, delicate and certainly quirky (if you listen just right). The band first previewed their unique brand of noise at Anaki Record’s Anaki Rock Chinatown 2013 at Dhoby Ghaut Amphitheatre after being shortlisted to play. Still a very young band, TempleShift is working towards recording a couple of songs and playing more gigs while perfecting their expression.
